I'm Rachael, and welcome to Capturing The Negative.
I have a particular interest in landscape and lifestyle photography. I like to capture life as it happens around me, not wait for it to be posed and positioned. Most of my images are likely to be in a B&W style, I love the simplicity and emotion presented within them.
For the past 10 years I have been developing and trying to create my own style, whilst using photography as an alternative self-help method for depression and anxiety. I aim to use the blog and lifestyle photography to help 'capture the negative' side of mental health in order to break down the stigma.
