Happy New Year! 10 days late but hey!
I’ve started this year of in a lot better way than last, I’ve ditched the idea of a 365, that didn’t work for me. Only managed to stress myself out so this year I’ve gone with the general, sweeping resolution of “get better”.
I want to push my photography further and get better at it, I’ve come so far but also have so much further to go. 2019 is going to be my year.
I’m not entirely sure how to make myself more successful but there has to be a way, right?
I’ve started off with the need to improve my portrait work. Something I’ve never really had the confidence to do, I still don’t really but I think if I can somewhat overcome the fear of street photography and taking pictures, it’s a start.
We went out to Eastham last week to practice so the above shots aren’t brilliant but they’re definitely something. To be honest, I’ve no idea what I’m doing just kinda making it up as I go along. I’m sure I’ll get it eventually…
I’ve made the decision to start eating healthier and at least try to get in shape. I feel so unhealthy right now so it can only help both physically and mentally. Trying to cut out sugar is the hardest bit of this, it’s in everything! Expect more posts related to this new fitness/lifestyle change…
I’m off now to find some inspiration and go out to take some pictures somewhere.
