Portrait Photography
I recently did a photo shoot, something I’ve been putting off for a while. I’ve never had the confidence before to properly attempt portrait photography.
I surprised myself, I had a lot of fun taking the images and then post-production actually went to plan…for once. I feel like I’ve got somewhere, like I’ve had a breakthrough. Lifestyle photography is definitely the way I want to go in the future. The style is a lot more…me.
I love my Canon, but desperately want an upgrade, saving has started. However, the Sony A6000 definitely outperformed my rather outdated 650D. Everything about the small, but mighty, mirrorless camera is better than the Canon, annoyingly.
Anyway, here’s the collection of the best from the shoot.
As much as I love the colour shots, the black and whites are still better, in my opinion. Something to work on at least.
In the next blog post, I’ll post the few I took on the latest part of the North Cheshire Way walk which almost finished me off…
