I recently moved the website over to Squarespace away from WordPress. Squarespace seems a much better place for me. The website looks so much better, at least that’s what I think. This is the first post on this platform.

Onwards and Upwards

Going forward, I plan on making writing blog posts a far more regular thing than I have done this year. It’s weird knowing that the anniversary of Capturing The Negative is coming up fairly soon. I’m not sure I’ve really achieved what I set out to just yet but onwards and upwards, as they say.

I feel 2019 is going to be a better year, I have big hopes and dreams for both the blog and my photography. I’m starting to develop my own style, which is alot harder than I thought. I’ve changed a lot over 10 years so I guess expecting a dramatic change in a year is asking too much. I’ll get there.

I keep getting the urge to try the Project365 again but last time it stressed me out beyond belief. There is a 52 week challenge, that may be more suited to me. I feel I need something to keep me motivated. Does anybody know of any photo challenges? Or have any ideas about maintaining motivation for these things?

As I’m writing this I’m not entirely sure how it’ll look so for the first post on the new platform, I’ll leave it here.
